Welcome to Memorial Park, a series of four virtual field trips in 2013, 2014 and 2015 following the entire construction project and the creation of Pukeahu National War Memorial Park to commemorate all New Zealanders killed in war. Anzac Day itself, 25th of April marks the centennary of the landing of New Zealand and Australian soliders - the Anzacs - at Gallipoli Penninsula in 1915.

Introduction

Memorial Park is a project of national significance in the build-up to First World War centenary commemorations in 2015. The project is the undergrounding of State Highway 1 to create Pukeahu National War Memorial Park for all New Zealanders.

Monday
23 March
